RED FORSAN
Red Forsan Granite is a type of granite that is quarried in the Aswan region of Egypt. It is a beautiful and distinctive granite that has been used for thousands of years in construction and decorative arts. The granite is known for its rich red color, which varies in intensity from light to dark, and its unique texture and veining.
One of the reasons why Red Forasn granite has been so popular throughout history is its durability. It is one of the hardest types of granite in the world and is resistant to weathering, erosion, and other natural forces. This durability has made it a popular choice for use in building construction, such as for columns, flooring, and cladding.
The ancient Egyptians were particularly fond of Red Forsan granite and used it extensively in their monumental architecture. The granite was quarried as early as the Old Kingdom period (2686-2181 BCE) and was used in the construction of many of Egypt’s most iconic structures, such as the pyramids, obelisks, and temples.
