Red Travertine Travertomo Rosso Soraya Travertine Terracotta Travertine
Red Travertine is very beautiful and popular stone for outdoor and indoor design.
Red Travertine is a banded, compact variety of limestone commonly formed along streams, where there are waterfalls or around hot or cold springs. The holes in travertine had been created by carbon dioxide bubbles, which were trapped when the stone formed. This gives it an open texture, which can be filled or left in its natural state.
It has a lineal (vein cut) or concentric (crosscut) appearance and mainly comes in cream colored and tan varieties. We also have a new range with darker veins. Travertine is a great choice for flooring and can be used both inside and outside your home.
Red Travertine is a beautiful natural stone extracted from Iran or Turkey whose color may vary in intensity from deep red to more tenuous shades, based on the quarry and block of extraction. The veining may also vary in color from cream to white and the color shadings that may be more intense that its background color.
Red Travertine, as almost as all travertines, are suitable for both interior designs and exterior ones, for private and public applications. This special natural stone gives personality and originality to applications as staircases and floorings – also combined with other types of marbles – facings of classical and modern style, decorations and daily objects, furniture, jewelry, tops for kitchens, vases and trays and many more.
